Applying for the City of Ottawa Direct Purchase Program I wrote:
Painting presents a view on the Fleet Street pumping station from a drainage ditch exiting the turbines and flowing back into the Ottawa River. This site is a white-water slalom training course known as “The Tailrace”. It is located not far from the place where I live in Ottawa and was one of the first places I liked to walk in. I reside in Ottawa since last year and this Plein Air series is my way to make connection with the city of Ottawa.

Application was successful, and on November 16th, 2017 my painting Le Breton Flats, The Pump House, Ottawa, December 21, 2016 displayed in Ottawa City Hall Gallery in exhibition "Longevity" among artworks, newly aqquired to the collection of the City of Ottawa.
