At the times when Natalia Laluq lived and worked in Kyiv, Ukraine, she, along with her colleagues from art-coop "Honchary (Potters)" dedicated her practice to research on production and decorating techniques of archeological artifacts, Trypillian Culture particularly for it's reach visual quality.In 2008 Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) presented Mysteries of Ancient Ukraine: the Remarkable Trypilian Culture (5400 – 2700 BC ). Organising Commity approached Natalia with the comission of 46 centerpieces for the Gala Opening and several handreds small toys and figurines, replicating Trypillian original articrafts.
